Our New Rooms

We love our new rooms! It has been such a blessing to have a room for each child! They really enjoy having their own space!

Sponge rollers!

Who remembers sponge rollers?! Well, they have officially arrived at our house this year! Lydia kept seeing these rollers in the American Girl Doll magazine and wanted them for her doll. Grandma informed the girls that they can use them in their hair. They were so excited when she gave them some at Christmas. So, on Christmas Eve, Lydia and Chloe just had to have their hair rolled. I really didn't think we would make it for 1 hour in bed without complaining. They both went right to sleep and woke up wanting to take them out so they would have "curls" before opening gifts. We didn't have enough for their whole heads, so it just made lots of waves. They had lots of fun and so did I. It brought back a lot of childhood memories!

My first Babydoll

Karis opened up her first VERY OWN (not hand-me-down) baby doll. She loves it and gives it "love" by squeezing it and saying "ohhhhh." I know we have like a hundred dolls around the house. I just couldn't stand the thought of her not having her own NEW toy.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning at the Morrison house! Lydia and Chloe were all into Christmas this year. If you ask Chloe what Christmas is about, she says, "PRESENTS" (with about as much excitement as you can imagine). Even though it's not the answer we are looking for, it is still fun to watch the anticipation and excitement of a child at Christmas.
